When you hear an oldies tune from your youth, is there a certain song that when played takes you back to a special time and place?

In my case, It was early 1970, my fiancé and I were sitting in my car when I broke the news to her that I was drafted and leaving for the Army within a few days. She cried while The Marmalade played "Reflections of my Life" on the radio. She eventually sent me a Dear John letter when I was in Vietnam...but I continue to visualize that scene every time this song plays.

Do you have a similar tune or experience that takes you back?

Back when I was in my late 30's I met a hot little blond in my favorite bar that I thought was in her mid 20's. It turned out much later she was only 19 but had a fake ID. I had struck up a conversation with her that included me mentioning I had a ball of Jamaican Blond hash and would she like to try some. Things started picking up after a few tokes and when we walked back into the bar a song came on the jukebox that has stuck with me ever since that evening. It was a short relationship but certainly a memorable one. :D
